Recipient of the 1994 Turner Prize, Antony Gormley is an internationally acclaimed artist who has revitalized the human figure in sculpture. His public sculpture projects, such as the Angel of the North, have continued to grow in scale and ambition, as well as popularity. This book is published to coincide with a major solo exhibition of his work at SITE Santa Fe in New Mexico in November 2000, and on tour in the US in 2002.
